A new startup founded in 2015 wanted to provide an online platform to both employers and job seekers for finding the best cleaning staff and job openings. Cleaning Services are required by both individuals and Corporates and thus there was a market for the offering. The startup had an idea of providing a well-developed platform exclusively for the Cleaning Service Jobs.
The requirement was to deliver a job portal exclusively for the cleaning services industry. The application needed to support a subscription based engagement model for employers and a free engagement model for job seekers. The application would need to include user access control for free and paid members, payment processing, employer job posting creation, a flexible job search mechanism, skill and job matching algorithms for quick and easy searching capabilities, company directories, and SMS text alert messaging.
Careful business analysis was critical to architecting this MVP flagship product because of its’ many unique factors. These factors were the key success factors as defined by stakeholders. During consulting, design and development phase, the stakeholders were advised to provide the best and proven industry standard usability solutions as dictated by users of similar portals that would align with the business side objectives.
The system was designed with the best UI/UX design principles in mind. The objective was to give the wide range of users a remarkable experience using the system from their desks working on desktops and laptops to physical labor users who were more likely to use their mobile devices.
